Home Planet is a planet in the New Warsaw system of the Milky Way Galaxy. It is owned by the Winged Hussars human mercenary company.
Prior to the civil wars that ended the First Republic, Home Planet was protected just enough by the Dusman that it survived when New Warsaw's primary flared, leaving it capable, barely, of supporting life.
It currently boasts a population of about 10,000. Also, there are about 70,000 residents living on Prime Base, which is at the Lagrange Point between the planet Home and New Warsaw's stargate.
During the century or so that Home has been owned by the Winged Hussars, they have invested heavily in terraforming it and seeding it with life that thrived in its cold and dark.
